For teenagers: How do you feel about the “science-fiction” label?
This blog post is more than a year old, but I just found it. I’m wondering how teenagers feel about this. Are you less likely to read a book if it’s labeled “science-fiction”?

I don’t think teens are going to worry about much of what they read these days–little if any. (I might add.)
The sad truth is, is that kids these days read LESS than their predecessors did a generation ago.
Blame it on the I-pods, the internet, Halo 3, Worlds of Warcraft, and other things.
If it doesn’t blow up, explode, exude sexual appeal, or some gang-related initiation rite…? They won’t read it.
