Art For Kids Blog

I’m a Latina artist looking for volunteer opportunities in New Zealand or Mexico. Suggestions?
Essentially, I’d like to volunteer without having to pay my own money for the opportunity, which never makes sense to me. If you’ve viewed volunteer websites or volunteered yourself, you know what I’m referring to. Plus, I’m near dirt poor.
I’d prefer to work with kids (from any financial/racial background) within the art field. I only speak English but might be able to swing a little Spanish. I have a BA in Media Arts and an excellent background in the fine art / administrative fields.
I’d hate to go to any country where the weather’s terrible as I’ve already spent more than 2 decades living in a crappy climate and am prone to getting sick during extreme weather. In other words, I’m looking for a change. I state this not because I’m looking for a “fluffy” volunteer opportunity but rather a chance to utilize my skills in an environment that I will enjoy.
Any help is appreciated. Feel free to pass this on… I’ll have a blog of my experiences up poste haste. Thanks
