I need some advice about applying to CU Boulder?

I am going to apply to boulder, but i am not sure if i should wait for my new sat scores to come in november or apply now with what ive got. I am applying to the art school for film. Here is what my transcript is gonna look like.
GPA- 3.0
SAT- 1520
4 Years Varsity Hockey
3 Years Varsity Sailing
4 Years of Advanced Video Production
Apple Certified Editor
Volunteer Groups
Interning for a Local Cable company and covering Los Angeles Kings games.

Well, a 3.0 is a bit low but provided you have good grades when you submit your application to the school and you keep them up I don’t think it will necessarily harm you. The work, volunteer, and sports experience you have is good and your SAT score is way better than the average (1180) so all of that will work well for you.

Since you took the SAT you don’t need to take the ACT and you have a good score so you don’t need to take the SAT again. I think you’d get in with regular admissions but if you’re nervous then definitely get a couple recommendations and write a essay to go with your application. You could try for early admissions but only do this if it’s your TOP choice.

And don’t forgot to apply to others too (UCCS, DU, CSU, etc.) as back-ups.
