LGBT life in Philly?
I’m going to be going to art college in Philly in the fall, and I’m itching to go out and meet other LGBT people. I’m 17 at the moment, and I’ll be 18 when I head off, I’m bisexual and a female. I haven’t been able to join groups, though I live in NYC, due to family issues, but I’ve heard that Philly is really LGBT-friendly. Can anyone give me any advice as to groups, nightclubs, anything or any place made specifically for LGBTs, and ones that someone my age would feel comfortable at? If the nightclub/group has an age requirement, please say it.. Maybe give me a URL or something.
(By groups, I mean stuff like support groups or activist groups. I’m talking about outside my school’s GSA, by the way.)

Philly is rather gay friendly. The dorm of the Art Institue AND University of The Arts are within walking distant of the “gayborhood.”
