Digital Painting – Concept

Digital Painting is a form of flowering of Western art, involving the use of traditional styles of painting, including impasto, oils and watercolors, finally executed through digital tools on a computer. The painting is done on the computer directly by using various brushes and effects painting. However, it definitely is not exclusively generated 'computer' art style. The traditional art styles, such as pastels, watercolors, oils, air brushing, and even carbon effects can be created using digital media.

Most digital painting software such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, and ArtRage allows the artist to create your own brushes, giving them the flexibility to choose the right way. These programs have been designed Digital Art specifically to provide several options for painters, including millions of colors, palettes, brushes and other painting tools and a canvas, whose size can be elected.
