How many good schools of Fine Arts in New York are high?

I can move to New York and wondered how many secondary schools, public or private, in New York is offering training in dance theater, musical and vocal. What standard fees be? Application process? The environment in general? And if you happen to be a veteran of any of these schools, please tell me your experience. Thank you.
