How would I start selling art/writings and start making commisions?

Hello, I am an artist wanting to sell my art and I am also a writer hoping to find people willing to pay for a commission for poems or stories or anything. Where is a good place to start selling, and looking for commissions? Also where is a good popular art site to get discovered at?
