What is the best martial art to defend themselves from the street?

i wuold like to know the best martial to defend the street, as if someone is to take your money, or whatever, is not it tae kwon do?

Boxing is the best. Everything else in a street fight comes with the use of weapons, and toughness. Boxing builds strength, courage, balance and technique. He had a high red belt in Taekwondo, using boxing techniques in a modern style. Only high Taekwondo kicks are just for show. But if you like making shapes then a martial art could be for you. As for wrestling, which is a completely different area of the fight which must also be learned. I recommend Judo Jujitsu.
