Er, why is that vain? The media feed women these perfect images, of a perfectly toned and slim body, a flawless flace, glossy long hair. Even after you’ve had children. Most women don’t live up to this perfect image, photoshop is a perfect example of this.

Thank you! It’s so hard to be a girl and look at these women who are the epitome of society perfection. Perfect hair, skin, teeth, waist, boobs, everything! And then you look in the mirror and see pimples, or tummy rolls, or a “flat” chest. Dove is awesome for putting that out there like that. So is the woman in the video. I’ve seen women like Jamie Lee Curtis and Aisha Tyler put totally untouched photos in magazines next to retouched and airbrushed pictures of the same photo. Those women rock, too. It’s probably just as hard to say, “Hey, look, I’m not perfect!”, as it is for us to look at those photos and already know that we aren’t.
