Case Arts
Does your high school grades/GPA matter when applying for fine arts in college?
Simple question, do your grades/GPA matter that much whenever you’re applying to go to college strictly for fine arts, or is your acceptance based more on how well you can do what you’re applying for, in my case, music? Would me being able to play very well help me get in even if my grades aren’t superb?
If you’re applying to an art or music school, GPA usually doesn’t matter as much. But if you’re applying to a school that offers everything else as well, GPA matters a lot more – because unlike the art and music schools, they’ll expect you to take and pass math, science, and English classes at the college level.
