NFL Hall of Fame 2008–Do you think Redskin greats Darrell Green and Art Monk will get in?
I’m a die hard Redskins fan and even more a die hard fan of art monk. I’m still upset that Michael Irvin got in to the hall and Monk is still on the outside looking in.
How sweet would it be for Redskin Nation if Monk finally gets in and Darrell Green is there with him at the same time. As soon as I can get the official date, i’m booking rooms in the canton area so that I can be there in support of 2 of the greatest Redskins professionals, ever!!! So you can imagine how i feel:
Green is the closest thing to a first ballot hall of famer that there is out there.
Monk should have been in a long time ago.
I’m biased, i know it, so i’m just trying to gauge the general public’s opinion.
highly unlikely you’ll get 2 in at once…Monk should’ve been in years ago….they’re notoriously slow with WRs…I expect him to finally get the call in 2009…only because it’s rare to get 2 from 1 team in at once and Darrell Green is definitely 1st ballot material
and I agree on Irvin….Monk and Andre Reed deserved to get in before him
