House Of Night Artwork
How can I calm my cat down during my sleeping hours?
Yes, cats love to sleep, but I also know that kittens have a tendency to play with everything and wreck the house.
I know that some people lock their cats in their bathrooms or separate rooms at night when cats can get a little to energetic at night, but I don’t want to do that, nor have I ever done that. What can I do to make him behave better?
Do I just have to wait it out until he’s older?
I play with him often when he wants to, but it’s also hard to play with him when I’m doing my homework, projects, artwork for class.
It’s also hard to settle him in the mornings when I am still trying to get some rest and he is playing with toy so loudly that it’s just annoying! I just want him to be a good cat.
Also, where can I find information on how to play and make cats happy? In specifics pertaining to cats of course, because I know that they have a different way of playing than dogs.
Well, if you aren’t going to put him in a separate room at night then yes you are just going to have to wait it out..and maybe he’ll stop and maybe he won’t.
I have 2, 3 yr old domestic longhairs, a 6 month old male kitten, a 2 yr old siamese and a 17 year old domesticated ferel.. and they still romp the roost at night. I don’t lock them up, I just learned to sleep through it.
and thats a lot of romping around…Some morning I wake up and it looks like a tornado hit my living room and all the cats are sitting at the front of the hallway with their “it wasn’t me” faces on.
