Ipod Not Showing Artists
IPod problem- artists not showing up but songs are?
For example, I have the band Styx on my iPod. I look under the artists section, but I cannot find them at all.
BUT when I go to the Songs section of my iPod, I find all their songs there- what is my problem and how do i fix it? I listen to my iPod in my car, so I can’t be spending a bunch of time moving from song to song or album to album- I just want to get to the band I want- so this is very inconvenient for me.

I've heard something about making sure compilations is off- it is.
All the songs that are affected are ones I have downloaded recently- most of which were bought directly off of itunes.
For some reason, I can find the artists i transferred from a CD a day ago- but nothing i downloaded from iTunes.

when look on itunes look at the song u cant find the artist for and if its just the title u might need to edit the info and put the artist name in there.. that happens to me when i download somemsongs from Limewire
