Digital art?

Does anyone have any advice on how to get started with digital art?
I have seen some really cool images on art websits where people really get creative and wild manipulating photo images.
and i have seen magazines like advaced photoshop.
but don’t know where to start.
any advice would be helpful.

Well first, you need to get a program or find an online-only one. Popular photo-editing software includes: Photoshop and the GIMP (free), among other programs. You can find online programs that are easy to use (much more so than Photoshop or the GIMP) like:

Try them out! If you like manipulating, try a more advanced program like Photoshop or Fireworks.
