School Arts Magazines
Yearbook/School magazine ideas?
Hey there.
I’am currently in the process of designing a yearbook for my kindergarten and pre-school classes, and I’ am looking for interesting design ideas. I would like the magazine to be flashy and pleasant. I will be having sections in the mag for field trip, unique arts, class photos, school events, and classroom activities.
Any other suggestion?
Is there anything else that i should cover? Should the pages have borders, frames, pictures?
Thanks in advance!
do not add borders/frames. I was a yearbook editor for my highschool yearbook my junior and senior years, 2007, and i learned more than i thought i would, and we have an award winning yearbook by the editing company. Put some community service activities if any, where kids participated, or were provided. Maybe some amusing teacher section, just for fun, kids like to see teachers showing a funny side. Maybe take the kids out to a field, and have them form the initials or year of the school. somewhat like college marching bands do, like ohio. And take the picture from an elevated spot. On most pages, come up with small, fun facts in a borded module. Facts, poetry..riddles, qoutes.. ect.. with pictures or designs OH and take polls from ur students, such as “WHATS YOUR FAVORITE ICECREAM FLAVOR, WHAT ACTIVITY IS MOST FUN” and show the percentage on a pie chart, or bar graph. Make a Collage of pictures on a page over the entire spread. Cut out these pictures and layer them upon each other. Just be creative , hope this helps
