Schools Cut Art Programs
Have they cut Art programs in your local elementary and middle schools due to budget decreases?
The school district I live in has cut all art classes for grades 1-8.
Is this happening where you are and how do you feel about it?
Do you think that art is important for children to learn about in public schools?
Yes, I do. Just like I think music is too. That was cut in most schools long ago. It adds to the richness of the education and it has been proven to improve students cognitive abilities as well.
