Sylvester Stallone Shows Art Materials Skills
Sylvester Stallone has revealed a talent for creating colorful expressionist paintings with art materials.
The heavy weight may be most famous for starring in action movies as Demolition Man-budget and Tango and Cash, but Hollywood showed a softer side when he exhibited several paintings at the Art Basel Miami Beach fair in Florida, the United States last year.
Stallone explained using art materials in his garage in California to create his work, including self-portraits and Impressionist paintings, which have been worth thousands of pounds.

The exhibition entitled "Sylvester Stallone: The explosion Power of Creativity "Featured pictures called Trapped ideals, Hush Kathy, childless, # 1, Superman and acrylic toxic.
Stallone is displayed with artist Fernando Botero, who is able to sell their work for millions and the actor admitted he was not in the same league as the Colombian.
He said: "I do not just say I have many followers. I'm just painting for the sake of painting. I want to be honest. "

Stallone also donated his famous Rocky statue, sculpted by A. Tom Schomberg, at the Philadelphia Art Museum during the filming of the third installment of the popular boxing series.
Although the American is an acclaimed director and writer, Stallone told the Sunday Times he prefers painting to make movies because the use of art materials is an individual experience and staff.
He told the newspaper: "Movies are a vision depends on three or four people to do. So there's a big commitment. Whereas painting is all they do. Or is raised or blocks it. There is no one to blame but one person. "
The Oscar-nominated actor confessed to the publication that he feels that uses art materials best when in a bad mood because it is able to channel his emotions more effectively.
He said: "I think the more unhappy you are, the more confused you are, the better your art is happy art, just does not seem to work for me.."
Stallone has helped other use of art materials as before the model for figure drawing classes at the Academy of Art in New York that lead to the creation of a large sculpture created by Martine Vaugelas.
