Somewhat low SAT, wondering chances at top schools?

Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.9 (UW) 4.07 (UW)
By end of senior year will have: 6 AP and 2 college course at a pretty highly regarded university
AP Scores:
AP US- 5, AP Art History-5, AP Language- 4
SAT: 1900 (I am going to try the ACT in October)
SAT II: US History- 790, Lit.- 700,
Rank: 2 out of 111
Interests: HIstory, maybe minor in a language
Ex:
-Piano (3 years)
-Youth Group
-unofficial co-founder of mom’s non-profit
- one internship at art museum
-work experience at a public library
-lacrosse camp
-volunteer work at museum and non-profit
-Literary Magazine
-National Honor Society
-Researching for a historian for his book
Awards:
AP Scholar, Honor Roll

I know a lot about Wellesley (which has a very good Art History department, by the way) and I’d say that you look like a good candidate for admission there. Your SAT’s may not be stellar, but high achievement in other areas can often offset low scores, and you’re a high achiever.

By the way, when I was applying to Yale, one of my classmates had terrible SAT scores — far lower than mine — but she’d been a top student. We were both admitted.
