York Arts And Culture
Tell me what city that has good transit system,no hot weather, arts scene,gay-friendly, nice scenery ? Thanks?
I live in Arizona and want to move to a place totally unlike Arizona. I’m tired of the intense heat, for one thing. I’d love to find a city that is cultural, has a good public transit system, has a fairly good-sized gay/transgender population in it, and is just pretty in some way. I love nature, and here in Arizona if you plant a garden you can bet it’s just going to wither and die in the heat. A “walking city”,a friendly city,a historic city, an arts and culture sort of place all sound nice…..I am conducting my own search but am wondering what advice I might get from others. New York City is too expensive for me by the way, interesting and liberal ,but too expensive.
Thank you very much.
San Francisco, if you like large cities or New Hope, Pennsylvania if you like small towns. New Hope is famous for its scenery, history and has two motels, four clubs and many other activities for the gay community. Very laid back, and not that expensive. On the weekends, people from all over; New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC come to New Hope to enjoy their life style without having to hide it!
